MoDiSeM activities at the symposium "Perspectives on Participation and Inclusion in Rural Areas"

Together with

  • the city of Oranienburg,
  • the Working Group for the Interests of Disabled People in Oranienburg

organizes the

  • MoDiSeM member Senior Consulting Service Diakonie e. V. (SCSD)

in the Orangerie of the Castle Oranienburg the Symposium

"Perspectives on Participation and Inclusion in Rural Areas".

The main network manager presents a paper with the title "Mobility offers in the digital change".
Another appearance from the MoDiSeM network relates to the BMBF joint project "Dorfgemeinschaft 2.0", which is still ongoing. Mr. Nickenig, Managing Director of I.T. Out GmbH, gives a lecture on this topic (Village 2.0. Why do we need a digital platform?) and then moderates the corresponding theme table.

The report on the "Church gives Space" project, which deals with the development of highly interesting possibilities of new uses for a currently almost unused area with a church and a parsonage in Guben, is weakly connected in terms of content with the focal points on mobility of the network MoDiSeM, but also presented by a MoDiSeM partner. Mr. Renzenbrink and Mr. Rommeney (both SCSD) give this lecture together.

The symposium, moderated by Mr. Dreher (Representative for the Disabled of the City of Oranienburg) in a beautiful ambience, is very well received by about 70 participants.
